Sunny summer days are best spent in a tropical floral skirt. I mean, florals for summer? Groundbreaking.
This summer has been ridiculously busy so far, but it’s also been extremely frustrating. As you’ve probably noticed, my blog has been a little under the weather, due to my photo hosting site deciding to be a *another word for a female dog*. When I first saw that every photo I’d posted for so many years was down, I spent the morning crying, and only just now, have I been able to sit down and spend tedious hours restoring photos. I’m no where near done, but hopefully, over time, I’ll be able to restore my many memories. Good thing for organized blog folders, eh?
In other news, I’ve spent my summer in florals. I’ve always been a big supported of floral clothing (in every season), so when I spotted this gorgeous tropical floral skirt on Zara, I knew it had to end up in my closet. This skirt was originally a part of a set, but the top was ridiculously sized, so unfortunately I skipped on it, but I do think the skirt does well on it’s own. Living in Toronto, I’ve never been a big fan of buying summer clothing – I always ask myself, “why buy summer clothing, when you can save the money for autumn/winter clothes that you’ll wear much longer?” A reason why my summer wardrobe always feels like it’s lacking something or other. Either way, this skirt was money spent in the right direction.
By the way, how gorgeous are these limelight hydrangeas? My cell phone camera roll is essentially all photos of hydrangeas.
