Apple Picking for Thanksgiving

A few weeks ago, my family and I went apple picking for Canadian Thanksgiving. Obviously, I was extremely excited since it’s pretty much the quintessential autumn activity (plus I’d never been before), but it’s also the ideal time to bring out the autumn fashion. We ended up going to Albion Orchards, about 30/40 minutes outside of Toronto – if you live in the city (or around), definitely check it out!

Albion Orchards also had two huge pumpkin patches, which made me feel like a kid on Christmas morning. There’s nothing I love more than doing typical autumn things — carving pumpkins, baking pies, throwing the leaves in the air, wearing cozy sweaters, and now, apple picking. I felt like a child as I frolicked through the fields, a sentence I never thought I would write, but there’s really no better way to describe my attitude that day.

Another thing I love about autumn, is autumn fashion. Although I love the freedom of summer clothing, autumn fashion makes me feel like someone is perpetually giving me a warm, cozy hug. If I could live in a world of continuous Octobers, I would.
