In this post I’m partnering with NewChic to share some lovely fashion bits and bobs. The lovely people over at NewChic let me pick out a few items, and I’m excited to share how I’ve styled them.
As you can already see, I’m wearing a white collared blouse, which just happens to be one of the things that I picked out, but more on that later. The real winner in these first few photos is the gorgeous novelty cupcake bag. I’ve been lusting over novelty bags from Kate Spade for much too long now, but considering the novelty aspect of them, I’m definitely not ready to shell out the money. This little bag, on the other hand, only costs $9 which in my opinion is a total bargain, plus it’s actually quite sturdy and perfect for a night out, or if you want to think outside the box, for pretty much any occasion where you don’t need to carry a mountain of stuff.
One of the other items that I picked out was this statement necklace. Once again, it’s completely and utterly beautiful, and sturdy, which is sometimes an issue when it comes to Asian wholesale sites like this one. I’m excited to wear this necklace with a variety of different tops/dress in the coming months, plus, necklaces like this also look great with collared tops (necklace over the top right near collar).
The final item I picked out was this white cotton blouse. I accidentally ordered it in a size too big, so it’s a bit more baggy than I wanted it to be, but better bigger than smaller. When it comes to websites like NewChic, since the target demographic for clothing is Asian women, the clothes tend to have much smaller sizing. Always make sure you look at the measurements for every single item separately, and measure yourself properly. I was worried this top wouldn’t fit around my chest, but clearly I shouldn’t have worried. I love how light and breathable this blouse is, it’ll be great throughout the spring months and even cooler summer days.
So, will you be shopping at NewChic?
